TMF organize a workshop in the event “O papel da mobilidade elétrica na transição energética”

TMF wants to thank the Coopérnico cooperative and the project partners of COMSOLVE for inviting us to organize a workshop about the first steps for creating an electric mobility cooperative in the framework of the event. The event, called “O papel da mobilidade elétrica na transição energética” (The role of the electric mobility in the energetic transition), took place in the beautiful Municipal Library of Orlando Ribeiro in Lisboa.

During the occasion, we had the opportunity to learn about the extraordinary way Portugal regulates public charging infrastructure so that accessibility and fair user tariffs are guaranteed (for more details, visit https://www.mobie.pt/ ).

We also discovered insights into the energy production and fighting energy poverty activities organized by the local neighbors of Telheiras (district of Lisbon).

In the afternoon, TMF organized a workshop with material provided by REScoop.eu. in which seventeen participants from various entities (energy communities, UVE – Associação de Utilizadores de Veículos Eléctricos, neighborhood associations, University, and Companies) participated.

We also had time to discuss the Som Mobilitat project and learnings in detail. Together we spent energy thinking about what kind of cooperative value proposition could work in the specific circumstances of Portugal, and really stimulating ideas came out.
